Is it okay for me to use a weight loss pill?
Hi I 'm 13 and want to use a weight loss pill called "Avesil ". I researched it and it sounds a lot better than the one I was going to order before. No stupid answers or comments but I wanted to lose weight over the summer and I have already planned out a healthy safe diet and exercise schedule and it is hard to lose a lot of weight the normal way so I thought if I did my plan and took a weight loss pill it would be more effective would this be okay since I 'm only 13?

I 'm desperate for a place to get motivation and support for weight loss. I feel so alone and I just find myself hating how I look but still eating to try and feel better, but obviously that 's a serious problem. I need a website where I can talk to and hear about real girls who are losing weight. I 've seen many diets but I just don 't know what to do. I just saw the abc diet and I 'm going to give it a try but I have a feeling that restricting that many calories is just going to end with me pigging out by the end of the day.I 'm 5 '6 and 146 lbs. : ( I 'm at my absolute heaviest and I have to go on vacation at the end of May. My sister just lost a TON of weight and I feel like I 've failed myself by gaining so much. Is there anywhere to go for support to add pressure for me to lose weight?
Does birth control hinder or prevent weight loss ?
I am trying to lose weight , week 1 I started weight watchers (again) after the first week I stayed the same in weight, I stayed within my points no more no less no cheating ! Now in previous attempts I have experienced up to 5 pounds of weight loss with the same program within the first week so needless to say I was disappointed. So I amped it up for week 2, I have been doing an hour of intense cardio workout ( advanced spin class ) everyday along with the points system , no more no less and no cheating ! I have only lost half a pound , the only thing I can think of being different between the prior attempts and now is a different brith control. I am very frustrated because I have seen loss of up to 8 pounds by now and I am far from that . My mom told me that the birth control could be the reason that I am having trouble losing this time but I want to get more opinions .... thanks Also , should I determine that this is the reason when I go to discuss with the doctor, how do I explain to her the situation with out coming across as just needing an "easy fix " and really conveying the hard work I am doing ?For a little more info I was previously on seasonique and now Im on a pill called desogen and it has .15mg desogestrel and .03mg ethinyl estradiol.Any advice , opinions or info would be much appreciated !! Anyone who has given up sugar from their diet...how has it benefited you (besides weight loss)?
I 'm thinking about giving up or dramatically cutting back on sugar in my diet (mainly the kind from candy, cake, cookies, etc.). Not doing it specifically for weight loss, but more just to see if it improves my general health. I 'm curious if anyone else out there has done this for reasons unrelated to weight loss. How did it impact your health?I don 't have diabetes, but I do have issues with sleep, fatigue, and other things.

I lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks, I went from being 94 to 87-88 pounds. Does that count as dramatic weight loss? The BMI calculators say that I 'm of normal weight...But I feel like I 'm too skinny now.BTW! I 'm 4 ' 9 '! I know tiny right?
How do i stop a weight loss plateau?
well i recently moved, and my lifestyle has changed a lot. i used to walk everywhere, 24/ 7 it was my means of transportation. but now where i live, everything is spread out so i 'm not walking as much as i used to.. which really used to amplify my weight loss.i eat yogurt, granola, and soy milk for breakfast. then for lunch i have chopped fruit which consists of 1 apple, 2 bananas, and about a cup and a half of strawberries and a fiber one bar. then for dinner i have grilled chicken, onions, and peppers sauteed with white rice. sometimes i 'll have bread and butter, and i drink skim milk.no dessert either. then for a workout i do 30 sit ups, 30 crunches, and 30 push ups and a bunch of stretching. i also will go and do a mile on the treadmill when i get home from school, going at a speed of 3.5 and @ an incline of 8.5 then after dinner walk for 30 mins at a 2.5 speed. i work out every day, but every other day i do the 2 times a day thing. yet i go on the scale and see no results? i 've been dieting since august, and i 've lost just about 30 pounds. but now i gain weight when i deviate off my diet even the slightest bit. then when i dont, i just stay the same. is it something i 'm doing? should i see my doctor? should i start doing weight watchers or jenny craig? or should i cut out the push ups and all the things that are building muscle? any advice is good advice, thank you so much
I have a weight loss dilemma, can anybody help?
I am 14, and around 5 '4-5 '5. My weight is 160 pounds, give or take a few. I need to lose weight, I know... I just don 't know how to get kick started. I am not completely unhappy with my weight, as I do not look large except for my legs. My ideal weight is 125 pounds. This means a weight loss of around 35-40 pounds (or 2 and a half stone). I want to lose the weight in a healthy way, but as quickly as possible - and also, if anybody has any ways of making my legs slimmer or more toned. Help?!

Trying to maintain weight loss but my taste bud isn't?
trying my very best to maintain the weight loss but i seem to eat everything i feel like eating.i will try to resist it at first but then i always end up into actually eating it.i also tried to eat alot of fruits the whole day so that i won 't be hungry and eat something fatty.help!i seriously need advice here.

i normally only drink water or green tea but when i went to buy more green tea 2day i cudnt find any so i bought peppermint tea.i was wondering if peppermint tea helps with weight loss....how many cups a day shud i drink??i normally drink 4-6 cups of green tea a day.how long untill i will notice a difference??thx.xx
Wellbutrin and weight loss?
I have been depressed for a while now and have tried everything to get out of it. Before I went to the doctor for help i joined a gym and started lifting weights 4 and 5 days a week.I also quit smoking. I have been depressed in the past and exercise helped before. In a little over six weeks I have put on about 15 lbs of muscle and physically I feel much better. Unfortunately though it didn 't help the depression much at all. So I went to the doctor and he prescribed me wellbutrin sr (bupropion). It 's only been a couple days and I do feel a little better. I have more energy for sure. The only thing I am worried about though is the weight loss as a side effect. I have always been thin and honestly for the first time in my life I am making really good gains in the gym and don 't want to lose all the progress I have made because of this drug. Is the weight loss side effect just due to giving people that are maybe a little overweight and lethargic, depressed more energy and therefore burn more calories, and lose weight? Or does it have some reaction in the body/ brain that makes you burn muscle or whatever?

Is my weight loss goal realistic?
I currently weigh 13 stone and 13 pounds. I am 5 '9, female and 18 years old. I am a size 14 waist, but my boobs are huge (I 'm an E cup) which means I can 't get tight fitting tops and dresses in anything below a 16.In january I weighed over 15 stone - I lost the weight by eating very healthily, and exercising on the treadmill regularly (4 days a week at least, doing at least a mile each time.)I would LOVE to be down to 9 stone by July and be a size 10. Is my goal realistic?

ok sooooo.... im a 15 almost 16 yr old girl and...long story short i lived in FL most of my life then randomly (wont mention the situation) thrown out of my comfortable paradise of a home into someplace i don 't like. in a new school, with people who don 't like me in NY and im just plain unhappy here....i wasn 't overweight in fl but i guess that could be because i walked my dog every day and cut back on the sweets, soda, and such. also at school it was a big campus and got exercise there i guess and also skipped meals sometimes. well now here in NY EVERYTHING i eat (or even everything i don 't eat because ive cut back to 1 meal a day) seems to make me fat, ive gained like a BUNCH of weight adding to my unhappiness....so i decided to try some of the things i did in fl. i skip meals, i skip sweets and snacks, i try to exercise but nothing works.....its like this stupid ugly fat wont go away. and now im going back to fl to pay a visit in about a month and i wanna slim down so i can go on a beach trip with all my friends and also im just not happy this way...NY ruined everything, and being fat doesn 't help, im sorry this was so long and im sure no one caaboutbotu my story...just i need help to lose weight...ideas, plans...anything. im tired of feeling like a fat slob = / ( this wasn 't rly long story short huh?)
Extreme weight loss wanted?
i am 5 '4 and 250 pounds. I know its disgusting!!!!!!! i am planning on starving myself. i want my husband to love me for my skinny body, and my parents to stop treating me like SHIT!!!! i can 't afford diet plans, programs ect,,,,, and am wondering how fast i will lose weight as long as i never eat another item of food again. i have talked to couselors and they don 't help. i am fed up with being judged for my looks. my family (parents and sister) think that i will be dead when im 30 which is in six years. i have been married since september 07, and the whole wedding day was a shammble. my father tried telling me i could lv my hubby at the alter, and then he had to find out what size my wedding dress was. so he went and asked my older sister, whoe telss him everthing...... i have pcos and haven 't been able to get preggo, and my family is supportive of not getting pregnant. they hate me and my hubby, as wellas my twin sister. any ideas for starvation? i have low blood sugar, but don 't care what happens to me. i want to lose 50 pounds fast and will do anything to get there...... i went on a pretty bad strict diet for 2 months now, and i 've lost a ton of weight, i went from 145 to 122 and im 5 '4, im finally healthy and dont want to lose anymore weight. the problem is i dont know how to maintain it because on my diet i only ate around 600 calories a day and i didn 't work out much, but occasionally and i think it helped. any ideas of how to keep my body exactly how it is?! if i keep this up i 'll get too skinny, but im scared eating any more than that i 'm gonna gain it all back. help!

14 year old weight loss?
i am currently on the weight watchers program. it 's been working well. i am almost on my 3rd week. i think i may have the diet part down, but when it comes to exercise, im lost. so far i have been doing this occasionally so probably 3-4 times a week :treadmill-10 min moderate walking 20-25 min jogging/ running10 min walking. then i usually go over and do like 5 minutes of a mixture of weights and ab work. i know it 's not a lot but i just spend so much time on running that i don 't have much time left.any suggestions or exercise plans ?thanks (:

Ok, so I want to lose 1.5 - 2 stone In a few months.I used to be a size 6/ 8 and i was the healthiest i 've ever been. I want to get back into that state, It was only 6 months ago and I 've gone up to a size 10/ 12.I have a series of eating plans, I don 't mind not eating much, I didn 't used to eat a lot anyway, and what i did eat used to be alot of fruit and veg.Ok- option 1: Calorie shifting: eat 500,1200,800,1200,500,800,1200 ect on alternate days.Option 2: Eat 800 calories a day.Option 3: eat 800 Cal 's a day and 1000 on weekends (optional) and 1200 Cal 's for something nice.Option 4: Eat 1000 calories a day.All of these options I will be doing muscle building exercises everyday at least 25 Min 's on a cross trainer (elliptical) daily!! Which will make me lose weight the quickest. Oh and once I 'm at my goal weight I will increase my calories by 50 a week to start eating normally again, but in moderation and no junk!!!Thank youNo nasty comments please, to put it bluntly- just answer the question thanks
I need some effective weight loss methods?
So im 20years old & 5 '6ish and splurged all winter long as far as food goes, boosting my weight up to 129lbs :( i want to get back to my norm for summer! Which would be 115lbs to 120lbs. I started the speical k diet a few weeks ago & started going back to the gym aswell. I 've lost 4 pounds but im stuck at 125Lbs now. So special k is getting pricey & im not seeing any more results. Any one know some more simple cheap weight lose methods that worked well for them? i still got at least 5lbs to shed.
