Loss of appetite and weight loss?

Question: Loss of appetite and weight loss?

(Posted by: on 2010-03-11 16:18:29)

I haven't been eating very much as I used to and I've lost about 12 pounds the past 4 months (not including March) without even exercising. I'm not trying to loose weight. True, I was a little on the heavy side but I was not close to being overweight. It feels as if I'm not hungry, but I do want to eat. I just can't though. I struggle to even eat half of a PB&J sandwich... Please, someone tell me what's wrong? How can I get rid of this? Heeelp....

It sounds like you are stressed or depressed or anxious about something and this is killing your appetite and meaning that you are not eating. It could also be the early stages if an eating disorder. You need to talk to your parents or a doctor and try and get some help as they will be able to give you the support that you need to get back to a healthy diet and ease the stress.
