What ever you do, do not crash diet as it 's a known fact that you will put all that weight back on. The best way to lose weight is to cut your calorie intake. For women to lose they should not consume more than 1200 calories a day and for a guy its 1500. The other thing is - if you are not into exercise try a brisk walk each day. This will help burn calories too. Last but not least - your body needs vitamins and minerals to function properly. Even if you ate all the healthiest food in the world you would still not get the nutrients your body needs so you need to boost these with vitamins and minerals. I was overweight too and I lost 40 kilos by doing the following; I have a herbalife shake in the morning mixed with fruit (like a smoothie) I have that again for lunch. I eat herbalife snack bars, 5 fruits a day and tons of fresh steamed vegetables and a normal (low fat) dinner. I drink 8 glasses of water a day and take a brisk walk each morning. I have so much energy, feel great and maintain my weight without putting it back on. Remember; you are what you eat so it is all about lifestyle. You will do it but make it fun and not a drab. You will lapse but that 's OK. Reward yourself when you lose and weigh yourself once a week not everyday. If you need more advise feel free to contact me. Good luck

You absolutely have to exercise. Exercise will increase your metabolism so that you are burning more calories, even when you are just sitting down. Find a physical activity that you enjoy and then do it at least 3 times a week. Don 't be afraid of using weights and strength training. A little bit of muscle goes a long way to help you more easily keep off the pounds. Or, find something you can listen to while you are doing some kind of cardio workout. Get a used Ipod. It 's a great investment. Also, remember that you will get better results from your cardio workout if you use Interval training, rather than just going at the same pace the entire time. Maintaining a strict diet and not exercising will absolutely slow your metabolism and help you to put back on even more weight later.

Don 't be afraid of adding a few more calories. Get your body use to it. Once you do that it will be pretty hard to gain again as long as you keep to it. Just try not to lose too much.

K, you need to eat at least 1600 cals a day. the best way is walk/ jog/ run at least a mile a day, drink plenty of water, and limit fast food and sweets to very little or none. not drinking soda is a very good idea or even diet because the fake sweetener will spike your appetite. and spreading your meals out through the day to keep your metabolism high, if your starve your body for hours your metabolism drops, so like 4 meals a day and if you only eat 1600 cals then that 's four 400cal meals a day personally i would eat 2000cals a day you wont gain weight if you run 1 mile aday drink water instead of coke and have an apple instead of candy or sweets.

You need to get back to eating properly. Your BMR is around 1400, so if you just lay in bed all day, you 'd burn 1400 calories. Try sticking to 1400 healthy calories a day. You 'd really benefit from taking up some form of exercise too - I 'd suggest swimming. If you lose more weight doing this, then just increase your calories, but keep the exercise. After a very strict diet, you 're vulnerable to bingeing on the foods that you cut out, simply 'cause you can. Please don 't binge, whatever you do, it will only get you into a horrible cycle that you 'll find incredibly hard to get out of. Well done on the weight loss! = )

You might not believe this, but if you stick to a healthy dietary habits by eating small meals throughout the day like every 3 hours, protein shakes and copious amounts of water you will lose body fat and maintain size. Things like bread and pasta should be kept to a minimum, they are still needed and are good if you need that extra energy to get through a workout. Just don 't over do them! Losing muscle mass occurs when you are on a 'diet ' that denies your body the nutrients needed to sustain strength.
