I need to lose about 10 pounds in 3 days because I have a wedding coming up. I am going to go on a 3 day fast with nothing to consume except water. I will also workout for 2 hours each day. Will I be able to lose the 10 pounds by the wedding day? I know it is common to gain the weight back quickly, so any advice on how to keep the weight off? thanks

No. That will just put your body into starvation mode, and you may actually gain weight. The only way to lose weight that quickly is liposuction.

Dude...losing weight takes time. I don 't know why people always wait until the last minute to try and starve themselves. Only leaves your body in a worse state of health than when you were heavier. Eat more meals, but smaller, a day and it will boost your metabolism naturally. No junk..no fast food..no fried...Do cardio everyday for atleast an 30minutes. Diet pills...blah...starving yourself...even worse. Do it the safe way.

THAT IS THE WORST IDEA I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!!!!! That is very dangerous to your health. like just ;live life be happy with the body God gave you because you know he didn 't have to make you.

I wouldnt add the work out because you could cause yourself serious harm, your body will burn important nutrients to sustain it self and if you dont put something back into your system you could get sick. I know from experience not eating for 2 to 3 days will cause you to loose weight, but I would never ad a work out routine. but thats just my take.

It 's a better idea than starving yourself because if you don 't eat anything at all, you 'll either 1) kick your metabolism into starvation mode, slowing it down and possibly making you gain weight, or 2) driving you crazy until you binge. Make sure you drink at LEAST 8 cups of water each day. Actual running, and swimming, are two of the fastest ways to burn calories. Whether or not you lose exactly 10 lbs. is up to your metabolism, but you should be able to lose weight following this plan. Just remember that after dieting, you will gain all the weight back quickly if you go straight back to eating normally. but since it 's for one day, this should work well for you = ) good luck to you!!

You won 't be able to keep the weight off. Crash dieting does not work! When you stop your intake of food you are telling your body you do not need food, so your body adjusts your metabolism accordingly by decreasing it PERMANENTLY. You will loose weight initially but since your metabolism has basically stopped, the next time you eat food, your body will metabolize it at a much lower rate than before. It can take years to get your metabolism back, or you 'll have to exercise vigorously to increase it to where it once was TERRIBLE idea.
