Abnormal weight loss?

Okay so i'm 4ft 11 inches and i usually weight about 8 stone 7 give or take, I weighed myself yesterday and i weighed 8 stone 1 pound today i weigh 7 stone 8, is this abnormal? I've been going to the gym quite a bit in the last five weeks but i haven't gone lately due to a sore throat and bad knee.

You are probably OVER-exercising. This is common when people first start out. Make sure your caloric intake is only SLIGHTLY less than what you 're burning w/ exercise. Don 't go below 1200 calories per day, esp. since you 're exercising. It 's either that or you have a metabolic problem, like hyperthyroidism, or a disease like a parasitic infection. But probably, you are simply doing too much too soon. Back off, eat normally and your weight should return to normal. find out your MAXIMUM heart rate by subtracting your age from 220. Then figure out what 65% of that is and that 's your "Target Heart Rate ". Stick to it or you 'll push your body too far and start consuming muscle (which is BAD). It sounds like you 've already done that. STOP NOW! It 'll damage your heart.
